Another great event

Last week I was in Middlesbrough for the Crossing the Tees Short Story Competition Awards Ceremony. It was a lovely event – a real celebration of people being able to get together to enjoy writing and, of course, reading.

As ever I was impressed by the kindness and enthusiasm of the library service and staff and the drive of those who bring Book Festivals to life.

Congratulations to the winners and commended writers who, along with all of us who were shortlisted, will see their work in ‘Crossing the Tees – the fifth short story anthology’.

I’m not sure the photo below has all the writers who attended in it, but at least it’s a taste of the evening!
